More Information

Product description

Bluer Than BlueClematis Rhapsody is an outstanding cultivar with broad - pointed - dark indigo-blue flowers. As the 5- flowers mature the color becomes even more intense. Very free flowering and one of our favorites.Compact grower. great for containers - balconies and small gardens. Groom the Rhapsody Clematis after flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. This encourages new growth for possible summer bloom.Clematis Rhapsody needs a supporting structure to grow properly. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich - porous - alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread.Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded - so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine.Very reliable performer once established and takes a season or two to get going.Plant Clematis Rhapsody in a container in a place where everyone can enjoy its dark indigo-blue flowers all season long.* Large 5- Indigo Flowers* Flowers Darken as They Age* Compact- Plant
